ABOUT ME

JACQUI TAYLOR

An inspiring, resilient and courageous leader with expertise across multiple domains in the small business, public and corporate sectors.

Jacqui applies her experience and insights to support her clients in finding clarity and certainty in their lives. In understanding what is most important to them, she guides people in how to use their professional lives and personal habits to best serve them.

Over 13 years, Jacqui coached hundreds of clients at her physiotherapy practice on their health and well-being, taking a holistic approach to their problems. A lobular breast cancer diagnosis led to Jacqui making bold changes as she gained personal clarity and she sold her business.

Jacqui started her career in Corporate sales, gaining experience as a Systems Engineer, Sales Specialist and Marketing Manager – before making a career change when the corporate environment no longer suited her. The decision to switch domains to physiotherapy led her to apply her skills in healthcare. After some time in the NHS, she entered the private sector, setting up her own business.

Throughout her time as a business owner, Jacqui has always explored her own personal growth, development and leadership through many different coaching groups and programs. From her work with Aspire for Equality, she was a Mentor on their mentoring program with professional women in the Not for Profit sector.

More recently, Jacqui completed her Yoga Teacher Training to further her own practice and to incorporate this into her work with others.  Yoga practice was instrumental in not only finding a way back into her body after multiple surgeries and cancer treatment but also into her mind and soul.  A greater insight into philosophy and cultivating a regular meditation practice brings her joy and ease with her life.

Her book – ‘The Space Between: Breast cancer & finding me’ – is about her experiences with lobular breast cancer and how a life-threatening illness changes your perspective on the world. Always wanting to share her insights with others, Jacqui coaches clients to take her personal learning, frameworks and principles to support them in their own transformation to get closer to what they want. She relishes working both on a one-to-one basis and in a group setting with clients, understanding their complex needs to discover the most efficient path forward.

Married with two teenage children and a dog, she loves to be outside and active. Since her breast cancer, Jacqui has immersed herself in her own health, taking a focused approach to her nutrition, exercise, mental and emotional well-being.

PACKING OUR BAGS AND FOREVER

moving on

The beauty of never arriving. But the fear of it ending too soon.

There is nothing like a cancer diagnosis to change our perspective on life. To bring what matters into sharp focus. To stop us making excuses and putting things off.

How often do we say we want a particular thing out of life but then we do something contradictory instead?

I WANTED TO

for myself and others
