“From the first appointment, I felt more in control of my business and was able to fix my working hours to give me more time to spend on myself, my home, and my family.”

“I am a self-employed physiotherapist and took the decision to work with Jacqui after being inspired by how she had managed to navigate her business through Covid and continue to make it profitable, where others weren’t.

I have always struggled with spiraling to-do lists and ‘perfectionism’ which often meant that jobs were left unfinished, in turn leading to a deep sense of stress and unease. I frequently felt like I wasn’t able to flourish in any aspect of my business and personal life and didn’t know where to start to improve it.

I wanted to be the best Mum, a good partner, and to be able to run a clinic within the hours that worked best for me, but often found myself taking on clients at times that suited them, and ironically found that these were the people that were the least grateful for it. Although I didn’t regret leaving the NHS, the ‘flexible working and work-life balance’ that I thought being self-employed would afford me, hadn’t materialised.

Working with Jacqui meant that I had someone else to be accountable to, and provided a clear focus.

Jacqui was able to make bite-size suggestions each week and from the first appointment, I felt more in control of my business and was able to fix my working hours to give me more time to spend on myself, my home, and my family.

I have been able to stick to my new routine, which has facilitated my self-help journey but also enabled me to make better business-related decisions, specifically avoiding taking on tasks or responsibilities that are either not profitable or are not possible to finish.”

“I felt at ease with what Jacqui was telling me and felt a lot lighter knowing I can do this without the need of medication and have been able to adapt it into my everyday life when I have a spare moment to just sit and breathe and relax myself.”

I have bad anxiety and panic attacks from a previous relationship which the doctors prescribed pills for. They were helpful but the side effects outweighed the positives and I decided to come off them and take control of my life again without pills.

Results after one session:

Jacqui was extremely helpful and understanding in what I was going through which really helped start the journey for mediation. After going through what I wanted out of the session she was able to tailor it to my needs. Something as simple as breathing correctly has made a vast difference after just one session and how to reground myself and take back control when intrusive thoughts pop into my head. Everything was extremely relaxed and I felt at ease with what Jacqui was telling me and felt a lot lighter knowing I can do this without the need of medication and have been able to adapt it into my everyday life when I have a spare moment to just sit and breathe and relax myself.

The recordings sent to me also have been so helpful as if I think I’m doing it wrong I can listen to them on what I should be doing and switch myself off from surrounding issues.

“Overall, the classes have made me want to learn more and really push myself and I try to practise daily at home, by watching the recap videos that Jacqui emails on a weekly basis. I feel stronger and more toned and  I’m really looking forward to joining the ‘improvers’ class when it starts and would recommend Jacqui’s classes to anyone.”

“I’m a 41-year-old mum of 4 and step mum to 4 children, all aged between 4 and 15. I own a recruitment business, so I’m sure you can imagine, life is pretty hectic!

I have dipped in and out of yoga in the past, mainly online during lockdown, but I have also attended classes at my local gym. I always found the classes very busy, and although I did enjoy them, I didn’t feel that they were very personal or that they really gave me an insight into the benefits of yoga from a mental point of view, as well as the physical aspect.

When I first met Jacqui, about 10 years ago, when she was practising as a Physio in her clinic in Bingley. I was really impressed by her knowledge and healing capabilities back then, so when I saw that she was offering beginners’ Yoga classes, I jumped at the opportunity. I was really interested in getting a much deeper understanding of Yoga and the overall health benefits, as well as taking some time out of my schedule to reconnect with myself.

I’m just coming to the end of the first 6 week beginners’ block of classes, and I’ve found that not only am I much more flexible than I thought I was, but I have a deeper understanding of the benefits and aims of the poses and the importance of really having that connection with your body and breathing.

The classes are small, and with Jacqui’s background as a physio, she’s excellent at ensuring everyone’s needs are catered for; that no one is stretched beyond their limits or in danger of aggravating existing injuries or putting unnecessary pressure on certain joints, yet still pushed enough to really feel that you’ve had a great workout! I always leave feeling relaxed, more flexible, and energised!

Overall, the classes have made me want to learn more and really push myself, and I try to practise daily at home, by watching the recap videos that Jacqui emails on a weekly basis. I feel stronger and more toned, and I’m really looking forward to joining the ‘improvers’ class when it starts and would recommend Jacqui’s classes to anyone.

“Jacqui’s clarity and range of manipulative skills have significantly helped my specific complaint where not many others have…”

“Jacqui’s clarity and range of manipulative skills have significantly helped my specific complaint where not many others have and her work with me has felt truly holistic in the sense that I’ve felt seen and acknowledged as a whole person (not just the problem!), as a mover and a therapist and an interaction of visceral and musculoskeletal systems. Hugely grateful for her intuition and sensitivity. If you work with your body (and prefer working with it, rather than having someone ‘adjust’ it or intervene forcefully) I would highly recommend Jacqui to you.”
