We don’t have to go digging for problems. Mentori We don’t have to go digging for problems.

Mentoring or working with a coach doesn’t have to start from looking at all the problems that you have in your life or your limiting belief so the things that you find difficult.

It can absolutely start from where it is that you want to get to - setting goals, a  mission or vision.

Having someone in your corner to help you with that can make all the difference.

And then what we sometimes find is that things come up - things they’re getting in the way of you moving closer towards the thing that you want. 

Then we go into them and then we look at how we are able to accept, drop resistance to, let go of and allow ourselves to move past, through, and onward to where we want to be.

So if you’ve got something that you know you want to work towards and you want to have somebody in your corner cheerleading and helping you along mentoring might be just what you’re looking for.

People often come to me for help with difficult situations, transitions or  looking for ways to live a calmer more balanced and peaceful life.

Both meditation and mentoring are really power and help us move forward but they were also really helpful when they’re going is good.

We can build from that strong place more capacity and resilience for when the going gets tough again.

When we celebrate small wins we don’t only make ourselves feel better. We also change our brain.

By being aware of,acknowledging and reinforcing the changes in behaviour that brought about our win we start to grow new pathways in our brain that can make that changes in  behaviour more permanent.

We’re literally shaping our mind to shape our lives and meditation can help with that.

Feeling into gratitude. Today I just want to ackn Feeling into gratitude.

Today I just want to acknowledge how grateful I feel for all the people who are taking part in my Inner Light  meditation course and being present and engaged and keen to learn something new.

It’s been an absolute joy.

Teaching at the beautiful feel good hub is such space.

Join me this May for a meditation course, with a difference.

Its purpose is to introduce you to the wonderful gift of meditation and how it can help you learn to approach the demands life places on you through fresh eyes.

Whether you want to learn to meditate or refine your meditation practice, this will be a very practical course, everything you learn you can apply in your life right away and and continue to apply it for years to come

The course starts on Thursday 7th May at 7.30pm (for 90 minutes) and runs for 4 consecutive weeks.
There is an Early Bird Discount available before the 12th April of 15% (£68). The price from 13th April is £80

so often in life we can work really hard finish something that meant a lot to us and then just link and move onto the next thing.
We don’t take time to appreciate your gratitude to ourselves for having done the thing.

Today I’m taking time to appreciate achieving my meditation teacher training certification.

Give yourself some time yourself on the back and don’t miss all the great things that you do.

When we live and do all the things in our lives with the attitude of purpose it changes our perspective.

Learning and applying the skills from meditation practices have really helped me to understand this and live it.

Can it feel too much to learn something new when y Can it feel too much to learn something new when you’re already working near your limit? 

When we learn new skills within an easy framework , we can put it together to make it work for us.

Meditation allows us to do this when you follow the Fire and Water method 

We break it  down into preparation, deconstruction and reconstruction.

Preparing with breath,  resting in stillness and concentration, contemplating a question then using some reconstruction practices to round it all off to leave us in a positive place.
